SWEDISH MASSAGE IN LIVERPOOL

Your body has been waiting for this.

There’s a reason Swedish Massage has been the gold standard of relaxation for centuries. It works.

Long, flowing strokes across the full body ease muscle tension, improve circulation, and bring your nervous system down from whatever it’s been dealing with lately.

At Perfectly You Co we’ve always believed that feeling good isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity, and a proper Swedish Massage is one of the most effective ways to get there. Whether you’re carrying tension from a stressful few weeks, recovering from physical tiredness, or simply carving out an hour that’s entirely yours – this is it.

What's included in my Swedish Massage in Liverpool?

Our Swedish Massage in Liverpool works across the whole body using a combination of techniques, each with a specific purpose:

  • 1.Effleurage -Long, smooth, gliding strokes that warm the muscles, improve circulation, and ease you into a deep state of relaxation from the very start of the treatment.

  • 2.Petrissage - Kneading and squeezing movements that work deeper into the muscle tissue, releasing the knots and tightness that build up over time - particularly in the back, shoulders, and legs.
  • 3.Back & Shoulders - Where most of us carry the bulk of our tension. We spend dedicated time here working through the muscles that take the most strain from daily life, desk work, and stress.

  • 4.Legs & Feet - Often overlooked but incredibly effective. Massage across the legs and feet improves circulation, reduces heaviness, and brings a sense of full-body relief that's hard to describe until you've experienced it.
  • 5. Arms & Hands - From your fingertips to your shoulders, we work through the arms to release the tension that comes from screens, typing, and the general demands of modern life.
  • 6.Neck & Head - We finish with the neck and scalp — the areas most connected to stress and headaches — leaving you feeling completely clear and grounded by the time your hour is up.

"I had the most amazing experience at PYC and wellness 57 with the lovely Erin. She started with a lovely Swedish massage then she moved on to a hydroglow facial and to finish I had an Indian head massage. From start to finish I was fully relaxed and enjoyed every min. Erin talked me through all the treatments on what to expect and the do’s and don’t afterwards. Would highly recommend any of the treatments. Thank you again Erin ❤️"

Our Swedish Massage is a full 60 minute, full-body treatment covering the back, shoulders, legs, feet, arms, hands, neck, and scalp. It uses a combination of traditional techniques including effleurage and petrissage to ease muscle tension and promote deep relaxation throughout.

None whatsoever. You can book in and carry on with your day straight afterwards. That said, most clients feel so relaxed that they’d rather not rush off — so if you can give yourself a little time to ease back in gently, we’d always recommend it. Drink plenty of water afterwards to help flush out any toxins released during the massage.

We require every single client to fill in a consultation form for any treatment we offer. This is to ensure you are suitable for that specific treatment and for us to understand you better.

We send you a link to complete your consultation form digitally ahead of your booking, or you can complete it on our iPad in clinic with us.

It’s suitable for the vast majority of people, which is one of the reasons it’s such an enduringly popular treatment.

There are some contraindications – including certain skin conditions, recent injuries, or some medical conditions – which is why we ask about your health in the consultation form. If you have any concerns at all, just drop us a message before booking and we’ll talk it through with you.
