Gummy smiles treatments are small tweaks to help shape the desired ratio for your smile.
There’s no medical issue with having a gummy smile, and it’s based on personal preference (as some love theirs). It tends to be when slightly more gum shows than what each person wants.
The treatment works in a similar way to an anti-wrinkle treatment does, by reducing movement in the area, which in this instance, helps bring the lip down slightly to cover part of the gum.
How does a gummy smile appointment work?
Step 1: Booking
Book in a suitable time for your consultation/appointment (if you have events, allow yourself enough time after treatment for the after care routine.)
Step 2: Prescription
We will organise a chat with our Prescriber, who will inform us if you can have the treatment (our team will then pick up the prescription directly and have it ready for your appointment).
Step 3: Pre-consult
You'll get an email/text to fill in your gummy smile pre-consultation form, including health questionnaire and permissions.
Step 4: Appointment
Your appointment will last between 15-45 minutes in a relaxed clinic environment, covering any questions through to the actual treatment and after-care to follow.

Everyone has a different pain tolerance, but in general, no it does not hurt.
You’ll feel a slight pinch (it is injections, after all!), but not enough for you jump or have any ongoing pain after the gummy treatment is finished.
Yes there are different types of anti-wrinkle products, all of which contain the key ingredient of botulinum toxin.
The most well-known product is Botox, which has become synonymous with the treatment, but there are similar products which also produce effective results.
Some clients have a preferred product, and we’re more than happy to cater for that, however our Head Practitioner will be able to work out which product is best for you based on your consultation and desired results.
Yes they are, and it’s important for all customers to recognise this in the wider industry.
These products are prescribed drugs, and as such, you need to speak to a licensed prescriber to have the product prescribed prior to us administering it.
