As a Lip Flip is a POM (prescription-only medication), the process and inclusions are slightly different, to adhere to all clinical, medical, and marketing guidelines.
- Free Consultation - A consultation always needs to be carried out first to ensure that you're suitable for the treatment, that it's the correct course of action for your concern, and that there are no medical issues that may impede treatment.
- 2. Prescription - You'll meet with our prescriber, who will re-confirm your consultation facts, and should you be suitable for treatment, will issue a prescription for the team to collect (all included in the price).
- 3. Lip Flip Treatment - Your treatment will be carried out by Adele, who is a registered nurse and who holds a L7 Masters in Clinical Injectables, meaning there's no-one better to get treatment from.
- 4. Follow Up - Adele will arrange a follow up with you to see how things are going and to ensure you've got the results you want.

A Lip Flip works by placing a small amount of botulinum toxin into specific muscles around the upper lip, most commonly the orbicularis oris. By gently reducing the pull of these muscles, the upper lip can roll slightly outward, allowing more of the pink lip to remain visible when the face is relaxed or smiling.
Unlike dermal filler, a Lip Flip does not add volume to the lips. Instead, it subtly changes the way the upper lip sits and moves, which can create the appearance of a fuller, more defined lip while keeping the result soft and natural. Effects develop gradually over the following days and are tailored to your individual anatomy and desired outcome.
A Lip Flip usually involves minimal to no downtime, and most people can return to their normal daily activities straight after treatment. You may notice slight redness, tenderness, swelling or minor bruising around the injection points, but these effects are usually temporary and settle quickly.
Because the treatment relaxes muscles around the mouth, some people can temporarily notice a slight change in how the upper lip moves, such as when drinking through a straw, pronouncing certain sounds or pursing the lips. These effects are generally mild and improve as the treatment settles. Your practitioner will provide full aftercare guidance following your appointment.
