If you’re wanting to learn more about dermal filler, we’ve answered some of our common questions here.
When getting dermal filler injections, such as lip filler, we’ll apply a topical numbing cream to the area(s), which takes about 15/20 minutes to work (we can leave it on even longer so you don’t feel a thing).
Once it kicks in, you’ll hardly feel a thing. This allows us to administer the injections in a pain-free manner, whilst the numbing cream will wear off within an hour or so.
The time it takes to get dermal filler depends on the number of areas.
If it is one area, such as lip filler, it takes approximately 45-60 minutes. This includes going over any questions, applying and waiting for the numbing cream to take effect, and then the actual dermal filler treatment.
Filler packages naturally take longer as it’s more areas, so that can be anywhere from 60-90 minutes.
