Dermal filler provides extra definition to help accentuate existing facial features.
Dermal filler is made up of hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occuring substance in the body. It’s given through a series of injections into the chosen areas, before which you’ll have a numbing cream administered.
The reason dermal filler is loved is the fact it has long-lasting results (sometimes up to 12 months or longer), but not permanent. It helps provide that extra bit of definition you’ve been craving, and has probably been most famous by it’s wide use on creating lip styles.
How does a dermal filler appointment work?
Step 1: Booking
Book in a suitable time for your dermal filler appointment (if you have events, allow yourself enough time post-treatment for the aftercare routine)
Step 2: Pre-consult
You'll get an email/text to fill in your dermal filler pre-consultation form, including health questionnaire and permissions.
Step 3: Appointment
Your appointment will last between 15-45 minutes in a relaxed clinic environment, having a chat and then through to the actual treatment.

Dermal Filler FAQs
When getting dermal filler injections, we’ll apply a topical numbing cream to the area(s), which takes about 15 minutes to work.
Once it kicks in, you’ll hardly feel a thing. This allows us to administer the injections in a pain-free manner, whilst the numbing cream will wear off within an hour or so.
The time it takes to get dermal filler depends on the number of areas.
If it is one area, such as lip filler, it takes approximately 45 minutes. This includes going over any questions, applying and waiting for the numbing cream to take effect, and then the actual dermal filler treatment.
