"I had a facial and Japanese head spa appointment with Jess today. It was the most amazing experience, I was a bit nervous but Jess was so lovely and made me feel at ease from the moment I entered the clinic. She is very talented and fantastic at what she does, would definitely return and recommend to any family/friends!"

The Japanese Head Spa is an incredibly relaxing one-hour, multi-step process, focusing on allowing both you and your hair to recharge. You can find the entire process a little further up this page.

There is no downtime from a Japanese Head Spa, so you’ll be ready to carry on with your day after (if you’re not too relaxed, that is!). We do suggest giving yourself some time to dry and style your hair after, should you have an event or are going out.

We require every single client to fill in a consultation form for any treatment we offer. This is to ensure you are suitable for that specific treatment and for us to understand you better.

We send you a link to complete your consultation form digitally ahead of your booking, or you can complete it on our iPad in clinic with us.

A Japanese head spa can help deeply cleanse the scalp by removing excess oil, dead skin, product build-up and impurities that ordinary shampooing may leave behind. The combination of targeted scalp products, steam, cleansing and massage can leave the scalp feeling fresher, more balanced and less congested, while also helping the hair feel softer, cleaner and more manageable.

It is also highly relaxing. The massage and pressure-point techniques used throughout the treatment can help reduce tension around the scalp, temples, neck and shoulders, making it ideal for clients who feel stressed or mentally fatigued. Regular treatments may also support a healthier scalp environment, which is important for maintaining the condition and appearance of the hair.
