Appt time

  • Approx 45 minutes, including numbing cream time and treatment

Filler dissolving involves using a different product to dissolve the filler in a particular area.

As dermal filler is made up of hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occuring substance in the body, this product aims to break it down more quickly, allowing you to get the area to its pre-filler look.

How does a filler dissolving appointment work?

Step 1: Booking

Book in a suitable time for your filler dissolving appointment (if you have events, allow yourself enough time post-treatment for the aftercare routine)

Step 2: Pre-consult

Step 3: Appointment

Your appointment will last about 45 minutes in a relaxed clinic environment, giving enough time for the numbing cream to take effect, before the treatment.

Getting you back to where you want to be.

    Filler Dissolving FAQs

Filler dissolving is made up of hyaluronidase, which is a special enzyme which occurs naturally in the body.

When it is used as a filler dissolving agent, it breaks the hyaluronic acid filler down in a way that the body then simply absorbs naturally.

When it does, your filler will have gone.

Filler dissolving treatments are administered in a similar way to filler, by initially applying numbing cream.

Once it kicks in, the Hyaluronidase is then administered, which will take approximately 15 minutes or so to do.

The filler dissolving will take up to 48 hours to fully take effect, by which point your filler will have dissolved back to its pre-treatment state. You may have some swelling, so give this another 48 hours to go down.
