Masseter Botox is a targeted injectable treatment designed to relax the masseter muscles, which can become overactive through jaw clenching, teeth grinding and TMJ-related tension.
Small amounts of botulinum toxin are carefully injected into the masseter muscles to reduce excessive muscle activity, helping to ease jaw tension and, for some clients, create a softer and slimmer appearance through the lower face over time.
(Please note; this is a prescription-only medication, like botox, meaning we can’t display before-and-after results legally as per POM marketing guidelines).

What's included in my Masseter Botox Appointment in Liverpool?
As Masseter Botox is a POM (prescription-only medication), the process and inclusions are slightly different, to adhere to all clinical and medical guidelines.
- Free Consultation - A consultation always needs to be carried out first to ensure that you're suitable for the treatment, that it's the correct course of action for your concern, and that there are no medical issues that may impede treatment.
- 2. Prescription - You'll meet with our prescriber, who will re-confirm your consultation facts, and should you be suitable for treatment, will issue a prescription for the team to collect (all included in the price).
- 3. Masseter Botox Treatment - Your treatment will be carried out by Adele, who is a registered nurse and who holds a L7 Masters in Clinical Injectables, meaning there's no-one better to get treatment from.
- 4. Follow Up - Adele will arrange a follow up with you to see how things are going and to ensure you've got the results you want.

You can find the full inclusions and process slightly higher up on this page, but it includes a free consultation, meeting with the prescriber, the product prescription, the treatment, and a follow up process with our registered nurse Adele.
Masseter Botox usually involves very little downtime, and most clients are able to return to their normal day straight after treatment. You may experience some temporary redness, tenderness, swelling or small bumps around the injection sites, and occasional minor bruising can occur, but these effects generally settle quickly.
For the first few hours, it’s usually advised to avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area, strenuous exercise, excessive heat and anything that puts unnecessary pressure on the injection sites. Your practitioner will provide full aftercare guidance following your appointment, and the treatment itself does not normally require any planned recovery time away from work or everyday activities.
We require every single client to fill in a consultation form for any treatment we offer. This is to ensure you are suitable for that specific treatment and for us to understand you better.
