Adele, our Head Practitioner, or our Skin Specialists Erin or Jess, can sit down with you first to assess your skin, chat about what your skin goals are, and the techniques they’ll use based on a combination of the above.
From here, Adele, Jess, or Erin will begin treatment. Their technique is based on their level of experience and education in the skin industry, as well as being guided by your facial anatomy and targeted results. Microneedling in total should take about 45 minutes.

The process of dermaplaning is straightforward and typically takes around 30 to 45 minutes. First, the skin is thoroughly cleansed to remove any makeup, oils, or impurities. Then, a trained professional holds your skin taut and gently glides a sterile surgical blade at a 45-degree angle across your face. This precise technique removes the top layer of dead skin cells and fine vellus hair, revealing the fresh, smooth skin underneath. The procedure is painless and doesn’t require any recovery time. Afterward, a soothing moisturizer or serum is usually applied to calm the skin and enhance the treatment’s benefits, leaving you with a bright, glowing complexion.
Dermaplaning does not typically leave any marks on the skin. The procedure is designed to be gentle, with the blade only removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells and fine hair. While your skin might appear slightly pink or feel a bit sensitive immediately afterward, this usually subsides quickly, often within a few hours.
You’ll see results immediately after one session, but as with most things, you’ll get the best results with sustained upkeep. Your natural hair growth and metabolism play a big part in deciding how often it’s needed, so chat to our practitioners to work out the best plan for you!
