COLD STONE MASSAGE IN LIVERPOOL
What's included in my Cold Stone Massage in Liverpool?
Our Cold Stone Massage in Liverpool consists of 6 targeted massage techniques and focus areas, designed to ease tension and leave you feeling utterly relaxed.
- 1.Stone Placement - Smooth basalt stones are heated to the perfect temperature and placed along key points of the body, including the spine, shoulders, and hands, allowing the cool temperature to begin working deeply into the muscle tissue from the moment the treatment starts.
- 2.Back & Shoulders - The stones are used alongside hands-on massage across the back and shoulders, where most of us carry our heaviest tension. The cool reduces inflammation and relieves muscles in a far more readily than in a traditional massage.
- 3. Legs & Feet - Fridge-cooled stones work along the legs and feet to reduce inflammatio and swelling, ease heaviness, and bring a deeply grounding sense of relaxation to the lower body.
- 4.Arms & Hands -Smooth, cool stones glide along the arms and are placed in the palms of the hands - a deeply soothing sensation that most clients describe as one of their favourite parts of the treatment.
- 5.Neck & Scalp - We finish across the neck and scalp, using the coolness of the stones alongside gentle massage to release the final pockets of tension and leave you feeling completely still.
- 6.Deep Tissue Work - Where needed, the cold from the stones allows us to work more deeply into stubborn areas of tension without any discomfort. The cold does much of the work, so the pressure feels natural and comfortable throughout.
"I had the loveliest cold stone massage with Erin at Perfectly You. She made me feel so comfortable from the minute I arrived and the whole treatment was just gorgeous — so relaxing, calming and exactly what I needed to switch off and de-stress. Erin is so friendly, welcoming and talented at what she does. I left feeling completely relaxed, refreshed and like I’d had a proper little reset. Such a lovely experience from start to finish, I’ll definitely be booking in with her again. Highly recommend!"

We’ve answered some of the most common questions here, whilst you can book in for your Cold Stone Massage by using the links below.
Your Cold Stone Massage combines traditional massage techniques with the use of smooth, chilled stones placed and moved across targeted areas of the body. Your practitioner will use techniques such as effleurage, kneading, compression and gentle pressure work to ease muscular tension, while the cool stones are incorporated to create a refreshing, soothing sensation throughout the treatment.
The treatment can be adapted to focus on areas where you hold the most tension, with the chilled stones used alongside hands-on massage to help you feel relaxed, refreshed and restored. Pressure and temperature are adjusted to your comfort throughout, creating a calming treatment that offers a distinctly different experience from traditional hot stone massage.
None at all – you’re absolutely fine to carry on with your day afterwards. Most clients do feel deeply relaxed and a little floaty for a few hours after the treatment, which is completely normal and nothing to worry about.
We’d recommend drinking plenty of water afterwards to help your body process the benefits, and giving yourself a little time to ease back in rather than rushing off if you can.
We require every single client to fill in a consultation form for any treatment we offer. This is to ensure you are suitable for that specific treatment and for us to understand you better.
We send you a link to complete your consultation form digitally ahead of your booking, or you can complete it on our iPad in clinic with us.
It’s suitable for most people, but there are some contraindications to be aware of – including certain skin conditions, cardiovascular conditions, diabetes, or if you’re pregnant.
This is why we always ask you to complete a health consultation form before your appointment. If you have any concerns about whether this treatment is right for you, please don’t hesitate to drop us a message before booking and we’ll be happy to advise.
